One Year Bible
In just 15 minutes a day you can embrace the power of the Word of God in one year. Check these links out if you would rather listen to the Bible instead of read. Check out the other links too. (audio version of the One Year Bible, so you can listen instead of reading) (online version of the One Year Bible, different translations to choose from, we're using the NLT) (background, commentary and pictures related to each daily reading from the One Year Bible)

Someone asked the question to Pastor Eddie about how much he had to spend out of pocket for his college tuition. They were curious about how he did it and could afford it since he attended Indiana Wesleyan. Below is his response.

Before financial aid the full bill was $60,000 for room and board and tution. 2/3 of it was taken care of with financial aid and semester balances due. I'm still paying on about $17,000 in student loans.

Take my degree away and everything I learned in my classes and add all the points below and I would still pay double for what I got out of it. Here's some of what I got out of it that didn't take place in the classroom...
+ Meeting my wife because of a college trip (the first time I met her)
+ the experience of being on campus in the incredible environment that valued Christian living and learning eternal habits
+ learning how to develop accountability with other guys
+ learning about my relationship with God
+ growing in my spiritual gifts
+ my volunteer ministry experiences that prepared me to be a youth pastor
+ the on-campus jobs that taught me how to work with people, develop leadership skills, and develop a work ethic
+ the friends that I now have all over the nation and the world
+ the faith that was required to get there to begin with that pleased God and grew my relationship even more with Him (Hebrews 11:6)
Average State school tuition = $8,000/year
Average State school books = $500/year
Average State school room and board = $3000

Average Christian/Private school tuition = $20,000/year
Average Christian/Private school books = $500/year
Average Christian/Private school room and board = $4000

Going to the college God wants you to go (state or private) to and you chase after Him with all you got = priceless and eternal for you and everyone you ever come in contact with for the rest of forever!

The average middle class person cannot afford Indiana Wesleyan or any other private school with comfort.

Just let your main objective in going to college be to learn the most about God and your relationship with Him as possible. Careers will come and go, but the Word of the Lord will stand forever.
