God Set Eddie on Fire Today
Our internet is down in the church due to water damage. Due to my high dependence on the internet to stay connected and my efforts to get the E-Nooz out to you so you know what is going on I am working from Panera Bread in High Point today where there is free wireless internet.

I've recently been reading a book called "If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat." After reading my daily chapter I felt God telling me that I need to get out of the boat this morning. He asked me if I would do something for Him. And I said "Yes, Lord. I will do this for you." Knowing that it would be a possibility that I would get kicked out of Panera Bread I stood up in Panera Bread in front of 100 people and announced,

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you do or do not know the Lord Jesus and are tired of doing the same thing every day and do not feel that your life has purpose please come talk to me. I will be in this corner."

Talk about a rush and God's Spirit enabling me to set myself aside! God is challenging me to get out of my boats (my comfort zones) and step out to do radical things for His Kingdom. I hope he is doing the same for you. Talk about a church that will turn Thomasville upside down if we all get out of our boats!

Today is today. Tomorrow is tomorrow. Tomorrow brings new boats to get out of. It's a daily thing..."If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me (Luke 9:23). We're going to Hephzibah this summer to do "missions" work. Let's do it here first. I'm tired of reading the book of Acts and not being able to be a part of what the disciples are doing. I want more!

You're probably wondering...what was the response when I stood up in Panera Bread. I wasn't kicked out and only 2 people...2 Christians spoke with me after that. But it felt so good to be obedient and make my Jesus smile!

Last Week
Melissa Richardson did a great job sharing with us on Wednesday night about God's plan for sex.

We walked a lot, but we made $900 profit this weekend with the Krispy Kreme fundraiser this past Saturday. Profits will be split between the students that participated according to the amount of time they worked. Don't miss the upcoming fundraisers on the calendar. They are your ticket to camp, the missions trip, Orlando, and many other events.

Many of us proved just how bad of bowlers we are this past Sunday night at Brunswick Bowling Lanes.
