If you are interested in helping a Romanian teen go to youth camp pick up a packet on the counter or download a form from the web site for more information and a donation form. Please turn the form and money in to Linda Nance by Sunday, December 12. Click here if you're interested.
Calendar Fundraiser
If you haven't turned your calendar money and forms in to Eddie...bad...bad...bad. Switches and coal for you for Christmas. Turn them in ASAP.
Ski Trip
Monday, January 17 is a county and city school holiday due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The slopes are usually packed during that weekend, but are very empty during that Monday. This will be an excellent time to hit the slopes with little to no crowd. Pick up an information packet on the counter if you would like to go. The cost is around $100 for skiers, $120 for boarders and $80 for tubers. Money is due December 8! Click here if you're interested.
Christmas Musical and Christmas Caroling
Join us Saturday, December 11 for the Christmas Musical at 6PM and on Sunday, December 12 from 6-8PM for Christmas Caroling. We will be leaving from Bethany Hall in the vans to go Christmas Caroling.
Christmas Party at the Plyler’s Smith's
Plans have changed. We will be meeting at Eddie and Martha Marie's home Wednesday, December 15 from 7-8:30PM to celebrate Christmas together. Eddie and Martha Marie's home is cattycorner from the church. Bring a $1-$5 gag gift to exchange. Pick up from there please at 8:30 if your parents are driving you. Due to the element of craziness and need for family time, youth has been cancelled on December 29th.

What a great opportunity to pray for your school! If you are a student at East Davidson, plan on meeting at 7:45 in Mrs. Cline’s class each Wednesday morning to pray. This is such a wonderful opportunity for East to be covered in prayer. If you are interested, find Meredith Carroll since she will be there and click here if you plan on attending.
Youth Group Transportation Policy
If you ride to a youth group event on the van, you must ride back on the van unless Eddie and/or another adult sponsor as well as your parents are aware of your plans. Also, if you meet at the church to attend an event you must ride the van over and back. Otherwise make prior plans to meet with the group at the location we are going.
