Christmas music is already on the radio. "That time of season" is coming up. I will admit that I love it. I love seeing all the decorations all the shopping, all the people. Let's just make sure to keep "that time of season" and the celebration of Christmas separated so we can worship during the Holyday season.

We had a great time at Celebration Station on Sunday. A few of the guys had a hard time in the batting cages and a few of us had some 4 car pile ups on the go Karts, but it was a great time.

I would like to congratulate two of our youth sponsors for officially being over the hill. November of this year marks 40 years of life experience for Radgie Causey (10th) and Richie Simmons (25th - Thanksgiving Day). Make sure to give them a hard time!

Congratulations in order for you? Let Eddie know by emailing him.

Tonight we will be worshiping with Thanksgiving. I know many people may be out of town tonight for the Thanksgiving Holyday, but we want to make sure to provide an opportunity for worship for those that are around town. Prayer service starts a 6:30 in the prayer room.

Wanted to inform you of what is going on in Mt Zion Wesleyan Youth ministries.

Ski Trip
Monday, January 17 is a county and city school holiday due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The slopes are usually packed during that weekend, but are very sparse during that Monday. This will be an excellent time to hit the slopes with little to no crowd. Pick up an information packet on the counter if you would like to go. The cost is around $100 for skiers, $120 for boarders and $80 for tubers. Click here if you're interested.

Relationships at Youth Group
Seeing that cute guy or girl at youth group sure can be an exciting thing can’t it? I know I get excited when I see Martha Marie there! Relationships can be a great thing when it’s the right person and the right timing. However, unless you have a license on your finger called a wedding ring, keep it toned down while at any youth group activities please...especially during worship services. Let visitors think you’re “just friends” if they have never seen you before.

See You in the Classroom
What a great opportunity to pray for your school! If you are a student at East Davidson, plan on meeting at 7:45 in Mrs. Cline’s class each Wednesday morning to pray. This is such a wonderful opportunity for East to be covered in prayer. If you are interested, find Meredith Carroll since she will be there and click here if you plan on attending.

Help a Romanian Teen Go to Youth Camp
If you are interested in helping a Romanian teen go to youth camp pick up a packet on the counter or download a form from the web site for more information and a donation form. Please turn the formand money in to Linda Nance by Sunday, December 12. Click here if you're interested.

Celebrate Christmas
We will be attending the annual “Celebrate Christmas” service for Youth Alternative on Sunday night, November 28. The service starts at 6PM in the sanctuary.

Calendar Fundraiser
We are selling calendars for $6. See Eddie if you are interested in selling. Checks need to be made out to Mt. Zion Wesleyan Youth. All money and forms are due to Eddie no later than December 5. Click here if you're interested and need calendars.

Sr. High Sunday School
There have been many great reports about the small groups for this session. Please email Eddie your ideas and thoughts of the small group idea. Eddie would like to consider your input to see how we should continue Sunday school. On November 28, we will be meeting together as one big class. December 19 will be the end of the first group before we switch groups. Click here to email your thoughts to Eddie.

Christmas Musical
Join us Saturday, December 11 for the Christmas Musical at 6PM.

Angel Alert
Join us for Youth Alternative Sunday night, December 5th for the “Angel Alert” children’s Christmas program at 6PM.

Youth Group Transportation Policy
If you ride to a youth group event on the van, you must ride back on the van unless Eddie and/or another adult sponsor as well as your parents are aware of your plans. Also, if you meet at the church to attend an event you must ride the van over and back. Otherwise make prior plans to meet with the group at the location we are going.
