I hear that Sunday night was a great time had by all at Lloyd and Faith's house. Make sure to thank Faith and Lloyd for having the group over.
I also heard that the Fall Bazaar was great. I hate missing out on good stuff.
Even though we missed out on some things this weekend, Martha Marie and I had a great time at the Pit Stop (youth pastor's convention we went to). It is a great break for us to stop and take a break and get filled up. I would like to thank all of the adult volunteers for their work to keep things going while we were away.
The Continentals rocked the house Monday night. I hope we can have them back on a Wednesday or Sunday night sometime so every one can worship with them. They did a great job communicating the joy we have in heaven through their music.

Clyde Dupin Crusade
Clyde Dupin will be holding a crusade at Lexington High School from October 24-28 at 7:27 PM each night. We will be going over together as a group on Sunday night, October 24. Meet at Bethany Hall at 7PM to ride over. Click here if you plan on attending.
BBQ Festival Fundraiser
We had a last minute offer this week for fundraising. If we can get enough people involved, we will be doing a fundraiser for the Lexington BBQ Festival this Saturday from 8AM-5PM. $60 is the promised amount we were told. Click here if you plan on attending.
Barn Bash
Don’t miss the biggest party of this year. We will have dancing (without moving the hips), drinking (hot chocolate), and drugs (caffeine and sugar). Now that we have your attention, make sure to come out for a great time. Get ready for a great time on October 30 at the Conner’s home from 6-9 PM. Meet at the church at 5:45 if you need a ride over. Parent/Sponsor Meeting
There will be a parent/sponsor meeting at Bethany Hall following the morning worship service on November 14. Come prepared to eat and fellowship with one another. Let Eddie know if you are interested in helping with the food preparation. Students are welcome to eat with us before being dismissed to the Old Sanctuary for a movie. SWU’s Winter Weekend Youth Conference
Southern Wesleyan University is holding a Winter Weekend November 19-20. This trip will be similar in format to the IWU Youth Conference. The cost is $30 for registration and travel. Christian College Fair at Wesleyan Academy
Wesleyan Academy will be hosting a National Christian College Fair in their gymnasium on October 25 from 6:30-8:30PM for students interested in college information. Dozens of Christian college representatives will be available to talk with at college display tables. Financial Aid workshops and college planning materials will also be available.
