Happy Columbus Day and Canadian Thanksgiving. Hope you had a great time away from school Thursday, Friday, and Monday. We had a great time at Concord Mills on Friday and a great time at the Corn Maze on Sunday.

Martha Marie and I want to thank you for the incredible support and love you have given us. Sunday's Pastors' Appreciation Day was very encouraging. We are thankful for such a great opportunity to be here for such a time as this. Thank you all for your love, cards, and gifts. It is very much appreciated.

We had a salvation last Wednesday! The Lord keeps bringing people to Himself because He offers more than anything or anyone else every will. That marks 6 salvations since June, not counting the 4 in big church last week! The Lord is moving!

Would like to congratulate Josh Klein for 70 yards rushing and for scoring a touchdown at last Thursday's football game. Would like to congratulate Patrick Hunt also for getting a job at Wal-Mart.

Congratulations in order for you? Let Eddie know by emailing him.

Martha Marie and I will be away this weekend. We leave tomorrow for a Youth Pastor's convention in Indianapolis and will be gone through Sunday night.

We are studying "Being a Living Martyr " tonight at the Youth service. Hope to see you there. We will be having prayer time in the prayer room at 6:30.

Wanted to inform you of what is going on in Mt Zion Wesleyan Youth ministries.

Prayer Requests

Pray for our upcoming election. We need the right man in there to represent our country and our God.

Josh Grey was burned with chemicals at work. Pray for his recovery.

Continue to pray for Brian Farmer. The Lord protected him this week as he was getting ready to join a convoy of vehicles when one of his superiors told him to stay back. The convoy ended up being ambushed and their sergeant was killed. Brian was protected. Thank the Lord for that!

Chaz Brown's knee.

Jenny Gillispie's ankle.

ax
1. ask.
"let me ax you something."

Christianese Word of the Week

Grace: the concept of not only pardoning someone for what they deserve, but giving someone what they don't deserve. God gives grace by giving sinners chances over and over, even when they don't deserve to continue receiving His love.
