See You at the Pole was great this morning! God has an inlet in our schools still! Let's make sure to take advantage of every opportunity!
God's spirit continues to pour out on our church. He sends His cleansing fire every Sunday. I know that I am challenged each week with my own spiritual life with the messages He brings to my mind as well as those that Pastor Keith brings to us.
I will be leaving in about 1 hour to head to Oak Island, NC with the pastoral staff. We have a Pastor's retreat with the East and West District of the Wesleyan Church today through Saturday. Would appreciate your prayers for safe travel, rest, and retreat.

Mud and Bubble Bowl 2004!
Come this Sunday, September 19th at the shelter from 4-7PM. Note the change of location. It will now be at the shelter. Come ready to get clean and muddy all at the same time! Bring a change of clothes and a towel. Bring a bag of chips and a 2 liter drink. I hope Troy Conner is on my team!

We will have Youth Alternative with the church on Sunday, September 26th. This will be a great time to celebrate the baptism of one of our own youth group members, Jake Conner.

IWU Rewind Youth Conference
IWU’s Youth Conference is coming up November 4-6. This is a great opportunity for spiritual retreat, college visitation, and for us taking a cool trip together. Sponsor and Student permission slips/registrations are due to Eddie by Sunday, October 10, but no later than Wednesday, October 13. Check out yc.indwes.edu for more information.
