A few of us had a great time serving some of the people of the community last Friday afternoon.

We had a fun time with the spaghetti fundraiser and servant auction this Sunday. Special thanks go to the adults who spent hours of preparation for the meal and planning for this event. Thank you for all you did! The final grand total was $1,487. Not bad huh! Click here to see pictures of the spaghetti lunch and servant auction.

We also had fun at Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe on Sunday. Click the names to see a video of the new slide at Emerald Point. Martha Marie and Brooke. Trevor and Forrest. Tommy and Michael.

We moved a majority of Pastor Keith's things today out of the parsonage. No, he's not quitting, he's just relocating. He and the family had an opportunity to buy a house. Let's celebrate with them as this will be a great excuse for them to stay at the church for an even longer time.

Carowinds
We will be going to Carowinds for Christian music day on July 8. The cost is $40. Forms and money are due no later than today. Click here to make payment with a credit or debit card.

Teen Camp
If you have not signed up for teen camp, it is not too late. There will be a $15 late fee however. Jr. High Camp is July 11-16 and Sr. High is July 25-30. The cost is $175. Check out www.nceastyouth.com for more information. A $35 scholarship is offered to approved students who are regular attendees. Final deadline with $15 late fee is due today.

Puppet Practice
Puppet practice will resume on August 22nd. If you are interested in puppets, let Faith Wilson know by emailing fwilson@bankofnc.com.

Plyler Lake House
If you are not going to be at Jr. High Camp, meet at Bethany on Sunday, July 11 at 1:30PM to head over to the Plyler’s lake house. The van will be back at 8:30PM. Please bring a drink and a bag of chips. Click here to sign up.

We will be having a youth service in the Old Sanctuary on Sunday, August 15. We are expecting God to do big things at camp and this will be a great opportunity for us to share with the church what happened at camp.
