About Wesleyan Men

What is Wesleyan Men?
It is the men's auxiliary of The Wesleyan Church across North America. On the local level it serves as an arm of the church under the pastor's leadership, and in a similar manner on the district and general level.

What does it mean to be a Wesleyan Men member?
Through Wesleyan Men, members give of themselves--their skills, time, influence, and knowledge to build the Kingdom of God. Working together, we physically and spiritually build churches by our leadership and labor of love, enjoying the fellowship of men mobilized to serve God.

What Wesleyan Men do
Monthly meetings are held for inspiration, instruction, fellowship, and business. Extensive voluntary service is mobilized for:

  • Church building and repair projects.

  • Charitable and benevolent work.

  • Church growth and evangelism.

Who can join?
Membership in Wesleyan Men is open to all men of good character and is not restricted to members of The Wesleyan Church. All men are welcome!

History
For many years, laymen and church leaders keenly felt the need to offer opportunities for men to do something great for God in their generation that would build eternal rewards. Many realized that men together could accomplish things for God which they could only dream of alone. Thus in 1968, The Wesleyan Church authorized an organization to be known as Wesleyan Men.

Today, Wesleyan Men is becoming a great ministry of church growth and evangelism which multiplies a thousand times our individual efforts. Our involvement for Christ is felt in homes, churches, communities, and mission fields around the world.
