WELCOME!

We are a people with choices!  We're always looking for more options.  We've moved far beyond “paper or plastic” at the grocery store.  Now it's the dilemma of “satellite or cable” for our televisions and our choice is based on multiple channel selections and premium packages.  The Internet has ushered in the “worldwide web” which means we can search globally for our news information, business connections or good deals on hot items.  Whether it's finding a place to eat or choosing a good church home, it's all about options!

Unfortunately, the same holds true for our religious beliefs.  For many people, Jesus has become simply one of the many options on their multiple-choice list of popular gods.  However, for those who know and trust Him, Jesus Christ is truly Lord of all—the one and only.  He stands alone as the King of glory!

There's good reason why Paul wrote, “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”  (Philippians 2:9-11).

This year's Forty Days of Prayer and Fasting campaign is designed to help you and your congregation renew a deep reverence for Jesus Christ.  By examining some of the titles and descriptions of Jesus, as recorded in the Bible, you will gain a fresh perspective on your faith as you connect with the life and death of our Savior.

This resource CD has been prepared with pastors like you, in mind.  You'll find user-friendly sermons, Bible studies, prayer reminders, planning tools, art, and more. It's a simple toolkit that contains everything you need to lead your church through a journey of worship and prayer renewal.

Thank you for exalting Christ our Lord by helping your people to participate in Forty Days of Prayer and Fasting.  May your soul be refreshed and your relationship with Him be enriched during these next forty days.

Now is the time to Worship the King!
